Great Health Doesn't Just Happen!
Obviously, cola drinks are not healthy. Colas fuel the world’s obesity and diabetes epidemic because of high sugar content and empty calories. Colas have phosphoric acid that destroys bones and teeth. Colas include aspartame that is linked to all kinds of health problems. Also, food dyes and other chemicals in colas are known carcinogens. But people are hooked on colas and their sugar addiction is locked in by caffeine. No wonder the cola companies spend so many millions of dollars on advertising and brainwashing our children.
Then there are energy drinks with berries and vitamins. Some of these would be pretty good, except many are watered down and contain massive amounts of sugar (one has 51 grams per serving) and unknown “natural flavors.” Also, we don’t know what type of fruits are used in most of these drinks – very few are organic and some have synthetic vitamins added. Not to mention, they can be very pricey!
However, there is one great-tasting organic natural fruit drink that has lower sugar and caloric content, natural vitamin C, and costs less than other so-called energy drinks. I am talking about RawBurst™. It is a burst of natural energy full of raw, organic, whole fruits and exotic berries.
By RAW food, we are talking about low temperature dried fruits and berries, rich in nutrition:

How many people do you know who are suffering from cancer, obesity, cardiovascular disease, infertility, ADHD, depression, thyroid disorders, lack of energy, compromised immune systems, excessive mucous, low stomach acid, asthma, bronchitis, high blood pressure, major aches and pains, insomnia, hormonal issues, migraines, or skin issues? Any one of these health problems could make your life miserable.
And what if I told you that all of these problems may be easily and cheaply remedied without a prescription? Read on!
Strangely, since the 1970’s, the seriousness of each of these health issues has exploded. So what happened back then that made things worse? The simple answer is that iodine was removed from flour and replaced by its toxic cousin, bromine. This was done without fanfare and, like a secret, was not openly disclosed to the general public.
Why did that happen and why is bromine bad for us? Iodine had been added to bread flour as a dough conditioner. Then a report came out in 1970, titled “Iodine Nutriture in the United States,” which hinted that iodine in bread may not be safe. The misinformation surrounding iodine continued to escalate to the point that, by 1980, inaccurate claims were being published that iodine could be lethal. Fearing lawsuits, bread makers replaced iodine with a substitute dough conditioner called bromine. However, while bromine is a halide, like iodine, fluoride and chloride, it is a carcinogen and has no place in the human body. Bromine competes for the same receptors in our body that need iodine, making iodine unavailable in the thyroid and anyplace in the body that iodine is needed to help prevent cancer and other diseases.
If the bromine overload wasn’t already bad enough, our water contains toxic fluoride and chlorine. These chemicals also compete with the iodine that our bodies need to function correctly. Many people believe that only our thyroids need iodine, but the truth is that our entire body needs iodine to function correctly. This includes major organs such as breasts, ovaries, the uterus, and the prostate. Because of iodine deficiency, we are suffering from an epidemic of diseases.
According to the World Health Organization, 1.5 billion people, about a third of the earth’s population, live in an area of iodine deficiency. Because of this, the world’s children are suffering from alarming rates of mental retardation, ADHD and lowered IQ, making it nearly impossible for them to compete fairly in society for the rest of their lives. In fact, there is an old medical saying that “just a few grams of iodine hormone can make the difference between an idiot and an Einstein!”
The best demonstration of the tragic effects of iodine deficiency and how easily and cheaply it can be eradicated is a province in China named Xinjiang. For 500 years, the province was written off because of its high incidences of severe mental retardation, miscarriages, still births, high infant mortality, stunted growth, and deafness. In 1989, Dr. G. Robert DeLong of Duke University came up with a plan. He rigged a 55 gallon drum on the top of a bridge to drip iodine into an irrigation ditch. A year later, the results speak for themselves. Infant mortality and stillborn/miscarriages dropped by 50 percent! Sheep production went up 40 percent. Average height grew by five inches and IQ increased. The cost for this drastic improvement, less than $.06 per person! Iodine dripping is now implemented for at least 2.6 million Chinese.
Over the last 40 years, iodine levels have declined over 50 percent, creating epidemics of breast, thyroid, ovarian, uterine, and prostate illnesses. Research studies throughout the world have clearly shown for at least 50 years the correlation between iodine deficiency and breast cancer. Ancient cultures such as those in Monte Verde, Chile have known for 15,000 years that seaweed is the best source of organic iodine and that it prevents and kills tumors. You can find references to seaweed’s many health benefits in many ancient texts such as Pen Ts’ao Ching, Ebers Medical Papyrus, and Materia Medica. The Merck Manual of 1899 lists iodine as the most used substance for tumors. During the Civil War, soldiers not only carried water canteens, but also iodine canteens to purify their water and treat infections. Grandmothers used to put iodine on children’s cuts to disinfect and help heal them.
Iodine deficiency tends to go undetected because doctors and patients alike believe that negative lab result tests override a patient’s symptoms. For example, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) lab tests have proven to be a poor indicator regarding thyroid function. According to Dr. Broda Barnes, “what we ideally need to measure is the amount of thyroid hormone on the inside of each cell in the body where it controls the rate of oxidation of fuel burning within the cell.” This is not possible because of the billions of cells and simultaneous analyses that would have to be run.
Also, we have been led to believe that if we take iodized salt, we get enough iodine. That is not true. A report by Dasgupta, et al., called “Iodine Nutrition: Iodine Content of US Salt” discusses the “iodine gap.” Researchers point out that salt is a poor food product because it is fortified with chloride which competes with iodine, making it less effective. Iodine in salt is also unstable and only 10 percent bioavailable. Also, it takes only 20-40 days for an unopened container of iodized salt to lose half of its iodine. I am going to guess it is likely that you have had that container of Morton’s iodized salt in your pantry longer than 40 days. So the truth is no one knows for sure how much iodine is in the salt because there are too many variables.
So where else are we going to get an adequate supply of iodine? Seaweed is a primary source of organic iodine, but not all seaweeds are created equal. Most of us in the raw food field know that if you heat something above a certain temperature that it becomes devoid of nutrients because you kill all the enzymes. The same goes for seaweed. What you buy in the store may be roasted and salted. Also, the Fukushima nuclear meltdown radiation disaster in Japan, plus the various oil and chemical spills that have polluted our oceans, make it imperative we pay attention to where our seaweed is obtained. Right now the safest place to obtain seaweed is from the North Atlantic Ocean. Because we are constantly bombarded by toxic elements, we need to have a constant amount of iodine in our bodies to detoxify, as well as to function correctly.
So how do I get my seaweed from the North Atlantic Ocean? I choose to get my seaweed from a company called Emerald Essentials which specializes in organic products. Emerald Essentials hand harvests, sun dries, and packages its seaweeds in safe and convenient capsule form. Each capsule contains seven organic sea vegetables with 200-250 mcg of organic iodine. I like that the product is organic, comes from the North Atlantic Ocean, and is routinely tested for pollutants. Based on the amount of iodine needed daily to function correctly, I find taking Emerald Essential’s product, called Emerald Sea, to be cost effective and easy to do because I can have Emerald Sea with me at all times by carrying it in my purse. Personally, taking the capsules over a several-month period helped heal two bleeding uterine fibroids that were giving me problems as well as heal my painful, swollen breasts. Also, I have a lot more energy. In addition, a wonderful side effect was that Emerald Sea helped me lose weight by boosting my metabolism.

Many people dream of being rich, but never quite succeed. Why? It turns out that they are not programming themselves to take in wealth. We are the sum of our experiences, which impact our thinking and our emotions. We need to clarify our thoughts about wealth. If we are carrying around conflicting emotions on the subject of money, then money will never come to us.
Growing up, did we hear things like, “Money is the root of all evil, money doesn’t grow on trees, money doesn’t buy happiness, rich people are corrupt, or no matter how hard I work I never make enough money to pay my bills?” The list of excuses can be endless.
Do you feel resentful or angry when someone else is more successful than you? How does that work out for you? Probably not too well. You must clear your mind of negative thoughts if you choose to succeed. If you are looking for things to go wrong, they will. The universe will not disappoint you. So concentrate on what you want, not what you do not want.
If you continue to have a victim mentality that rich people always screw the unfortunate, or if you are thinking “poor me” (for having less), you will NEVER be rich. When you change your negative thoughts to positive thoughts, you change your life for the better. You need to stop waiting for others to save you. Start taking control and be not afraid to take more risks. In other words, get out of your comfort zone. Success is an inside (the head) job!
It’s when you have nothing that you can do anything. Things have been taken away from you because they were holding you back. When you have nothing left to lose, you have no more fear. When you are fearless, you are unstoppable, according to Markus Rothkrantz, who wrote The Prosperity Secret.
Some major differences in the thinking between poor and rich people are:
• Poor people are dictated by others in life (circumstances, boss, children); Rich people are the dictators of their life.
• Poor people believe that life is made up of random happenings so they have someone to blame; Rich people believe that they create their own life.
• Poor people make decisions based on fear of loss; Rich people make decisions to gain more.
• Poor people make decisions based on limiting beliefs because they do not believe in themselves; Rich people make decisions from confidence in themselves.
• Poor people quit; Rich people do not quit.
• Poor people learn and follow the herd (the 96%) to the slaughterhouse by listening to their broke friends and relatives; Rich people continuously expand their intellectual wealth.
• Poor people get paid by the hour; Rich people get paid for the value they bring to the marketplace.
• Poor people accept mediocrity as a reality; Rich people create solutions to make their dreams a reality.
• Poor people see and prepare for negative results; Rich people see and expect positive results.
• Poor people rely on hopes and prayers and remain idle; Rich people have vision and take action.
• Poor people dwell in current circumstances; Rich people see the outcome they choose regardless of the current circumstances.
